The first crop corn harvest in Paraná reached 73% of the expected area by March 4, as reported by Deral. This marked an 8 percentage point increase from the previous week. Currently, 60% of the area is in good harvest condition, 32% average, and 8% poor. 94% of plants are in the maturation phase, with 6% in fruiting. For the second cereal harvest, 82% of the area has been planted, a rise from the previous week’s 66%. The majority of plants are in the vegetative development stage.
