JBS will invest R$150.93 million to expand and modernize its container terminal at the Port of Itajaí as part of a R$400 million debenture issuance. Of the total funding, R$216.76 million has been allocated to projects in Santa Catarina, with the port terminal receiving the largest share to increase operational capacity and strengthen logistics infrastructure. The company will also invest R$65.83 million to expand its biodiesel plant in Mafra, raising production capacity from 1,025 to 1,370 cubic meters per day through 2036.
