SANTOS PORT AUTHORITY TO COMMISSION STUDIES TO IDENTIFY CONTAMINATED AREAS

The Santos Port Authority (APS) advances in the Environmental Liability Monitoring Program by contracting studies to identify potentially contaminated areas in 11 regions within the polygon of the Organized Port of Santos. The electronic bidding held on 13/11 aims to meet the conditions of Operating License 1,382/2017. APS emphasizes that the analysis will include areas in Santos, Guarujá, and Bertioga. The program aims for the constant updating of the environmental diagnosis for the regularization of the Port of Santos, identifying potential ecological and human health risks. The contract will be valid for 18 months, with the possibility of extension up to five years. The contract value is confidential, and the competition is based on the lowest overall price for the service.
