RAÍZEN ANNOUNCES RECORD CRUSHING OF 84.2 MILLION TONS IN THE 2023/24 HARVEST

Raízen disclosed a preview of its fourth-quarter results for the 2023/24 harvest, indicating significant growth in sugarcane crushing to 1.1 million tons from 300 thousand in the previous year, totaling a record 84.2 million tons for the entire harvest, a 15% increase. However, there was a slight decrease in the total recoverable sugar content and agricultural yield of sugarcane fields. The company allocated 28% of the raw material to sugar production in the final quarter, attributing the reduction to harvest seasonality.
