The Port of Santos, historically responsible for at least 25% of Brazil’s foreign trade, closed 2024 with a net profit of R$ 844.6 million, a 29.8% increase compared to 2023. Gross revenue rose to R$ 1.96 billion, up 8.4%, while operational net revenue grew by 5.5% to R$ 1.64 billion. Operating profit jumped by 29%, reaching R$ 1.01 billion. EBITDA also increased by 27.3%, totaling R$ 1.06 billion, with a margin of 64.2%. In 2024, the port handled 90.7 million tons of agricultural commodities, including 27 million tons of sugar, 27.8 million tons of soybeans, and 15.9 million tons of corn. Celebrating 133 years of operations on February 2, the port saw record performance, moving 179.8 million tons, a 3.8% increase from 2023. The APS plans R$ 12.6 billion in infrastructure and innovation investments to ensure continued growth.
