The Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea) has reported that the planting of the second corn crop for the 2023-24 season in Mato Grosso has been completed. The planting has reached 99.02% of the total area, with a weekly progress of 0.55 percentage points, ahead of the same period in the previous year. The soybean harvest for the 2023-24 crop has also made significant progress, with 98.57% of the estimated area already harvested, and a weekly progress of 2.97%. The state’s mid-north and north areas have finished harvesting, while other areas are still in progress, with the west leading the way.
