BRAZIL’S EXPORTS SOAR THANKS TO PRE-SALT OIL IN 2024

In 2024, Brazilian crude oil exports were BRL 273 billion, making it the most important item on the export agenda, accounting for 13.3% of the total soybeans. The performance was boosted by pre-salt oil collected from high-quality fields like Tupi. Brazil has increased its self-sufficiency in the sector by combining public and private enterprises and employing sophisticated technologies, such as 4D seismic survey, to improve extraction precision. New methods aim to reduce CO₂ emissions and promote sustainable industrial practices.
