BRAZIL ACHIEVES EXPORT MILESTONE TO THE U.S. IN 2024, AMCHAM SAYS

According to Amcham Brasil, Brazilian exports to the US reached an all-time high of USD 40.3 billion in 2024. Export volume climbed by 9.9% from 2023 despite the global crisis. With 78.3% of exports, the industry led in concentration on oil, aircraft, coffee, cellulose, and beef. Rising demand for natural gas drove imports of US goods, reaching USD 40.6 billion. Bilateral trade came to USD 80.9 billion, up 8.2 percent. With both nations’ economy growing, Amcham expects strong trade flow in 2025 but warns of global uncertainties.
