Waterway logistics company Hidrovias do Brasil (HBSA) joined MoveInfra, a movement initiated at the end of last year to promote sustainable infrastructure in Brazil. Other companies in the group are CCR, EcoRodovias, Rumo, Santos Brasil, and Ultracargo. With the entry of HBSA, MoveInfra expanded its reach among all modes of transportation in the country: highways, railways, ports, airports, and waterways. Hidrovias do Brasil has invested in the development of waterway logistics in an innovative and sustainable manner since its inception. “In a country with a hydrographic basin like Brazil’s, water transport has a lot of growth potential, and MoveInfra, with its experience in other logistics, will contribute a lot to boost and strengthen Brazilian waterway transport,” says Fabio Schettino, CEO of Hidrovias do Brasil.
