VOLUMES OF REFINED SUGAR SHIPPED IN NOVEMBER INCREASED BY 48% COMPARED TO THE SAME PERIOD LAST YEAR

ItauBBA’s Agro Consulting has released the most recent edition of the Radar Agro report, which covers the primary commodities exported from Brazil in November. According to the study, the turnover was USD 13.3 billion, which is 0.7% more than the previous month and 9.7% higher than November 2022. The amount of refined sugar delivered in November 2023 grew by 48% compared to November 2022 in the sugar-energy complex. The increase in raw sugar was 5%. In the same comparison, ethanol had a 21% smaller volume. Raw sugar and refined sugar average dollar prices increased by 24% and 18%, respectively. Meanwhile, between November 2023 and November 2022, ethanol prices were 12% lower.
