THE GOVERNMENT OF GOIAS HAS APPROVED INVESTMENTS WORTH BRL 65 MILLION

The State Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, and Supply of the state of Goiás participated in a meeting where they approved 42 consultation letters for agricultural projects. The Constitutional Fund of Brazil’s Center-West (FCO Rural) provided BRL 65 million in investment for these projects. The funds will be used for machinery, agricultural tools, matrices, and revitalizing 29 towns in Goiás. Nearly half of the funding, about 47.5%, will be directed toward small rural enterprises, while 39.2% will go to small-medium-sized ones. Cattle ranching is projected to be the primary sector in these operations. FCO Rural is a substantial source of finance for regional agricultural development, aiming to boost the local economy and create job opportunities.
