TEMAPE ANNOUNCES BRL 130 MILLION INVESTMENT TO EXPAND SUAPE PORT TERMINAL

Terminais Marítimos de Pernambuco S.A (Temape) revealed a BRL 130 million plan to expand its terminal in the Port of Suape. Currently overseeing a liquid bulk cargo terminal in the port’s primary zone, the company aims to enhance the site’s capacity from 58k m³ to 83k m³. The expansion project, set to be financed by Banco do Nordeste (BNB), is expected to commence in 12 months and span a duration of eight months. The project encompasses two stages: the first involves the installation of 11 tanks, providing a total capacity of 57.2 thousand cubic meters (m The second phase of the project, entails the construction of six more tanks, elevating the tanking capacity to around 95,000 m³.
