TAIWAN BOUGHT 130,000 TONS OF CORN FROM BRAZIL

Taiwanese importers bought around 130,000 tons of animal feed corn from Brazil last Wednesday in two private deals. The deals added to 65,000 tons of corn bought by the Taiwanese group MFIG. The private deals involved corn at an estimated premium of 220.25 cents a bushel over the Chicago Contract, the same price paid in the tender by MFIG. Trading Mitsui likely sold 65,000 tons for shipment from Brazil between January 25 and February 20, 2023. Another trading company likely sold 65,000 tons for shipment from Brazil in 20 days between February 15 and March 31.
