SOYBEAN HARVEST REACHES 69% IN BRAZIL; OFF-SEASON CORN PLANTING IS COMPLETE

The soybean harvest in Brazil has reached 69% of the area, with a particular focus on Matopiba and Rio Grande do Sul, where yields have been good. The planting of off-season corn is now complete, covering 100% of the planned area in Brazil’s center-south. The main concern at present is the weather. There are worries due to the heat and irregular rainfall, especially in Paraná and southern Mato Grosso do Sul. The 2023-24 summer corn harvest in the center-south has also progressed, reaching 75% on the same date.
