SOYBEAN HARVEST REACHES 12.82% OF THE AREA IN MATO GROSSO

The 2023-24 soybean harvest in Mato Grosso has achieved 12.82% of the expected area, representing a weekly growth of 6.36%. This is higher than the same period last year. The progress is also faster than last year’s rate (5.90%) and the average over the prior five years (7.93%). The western part of Mato Grosso is the farthest along, with 9.75% of the harvest already done. Mato Grosso has planted 3.93% of the planned corn area for the 2023-24 season, representing a 2.69 percentage point weekly growth.
