SOYBEAN COMPLEX LEADS PARANÁ’S EXPORTS IN THE FIRST QUARTER.

Paraná’s soybean complex remained the state’s top export in Q1 2026, with shipments at 3.41 million tons (-4% year-on-year) and revenue rising 2% to US$1.47 billion, according to Deral. Soybeans accounted for 71% of exports, followed by meal (24%) and oil (5%). China led demand with a 58% share, ahead of Iran (6%), with exports reaching 22 destinations. Nationally, soybean complex exports totaled 36.19 million tons (+8%), generating US$13.61 billion (+12%). In contrast, Paraná’s wheat output (2.87 million tons in 2025) was almost بالكامل absorbed domestically, with negligible exports—only 4 tons shipped to Ecuador—and no further volumes expected in 2026.
