São Sebastião port targets up to 1.6 million tonnes in 2026, versus 1.4 million tonnes in 2025. January throughput reached 133.7k tonnes, a record for the month. Growth is led by agribulk, mainly sugar, alongside soda ash, malt, barley, petcoke and wheat, recently resumed after 25 years. Key capex includes a new BRL 51 million road access, truck yards with 300 slots and operational upgrades. The SSB01 multipurpose terminal project may attract up to BRL 2.5 billion, with potential capacity of 1.35 million TEUs and 3.45 million tonnes of dry bulk. The port is also rolling out a Port Community System to improve scheduling, cargo tracking and overall logistics efficiency.
