SÃO FRANCISCO DO SUL RANKS 7TH AMONG PUBLIC PORTS IN THE COUNTRY.

The Antaq confirmed that the Port of São Francisco do Sul is among the largest in Brazil after registering a historic movement in 2023, with 16.8 million tons of goods, a 33% increase compared to 2022. The port was the second fastest growing among the top 10 in the country. In 2023, Santa Catarina led cargo growth in the Southern Region, surpassing Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul. Exports accounted for 60% of the flow, with a focus on grains (soybeans and corn), vegetable oil, and timber. For the future, the port president plans to invest in technology and infrastructure to ensure sustainable growth.
