SALES OF SOYBEANS FROM MATO GROSSO REACH 40.6% OF THE 2023/24 CROP

The sale of soybeans from the 2023/24 crop in Mato Grosso reached 40.61% of the total expected, according to a report by the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea). This percentage is below the pace of the previous crop and the average of the last five years. Performance varies by region, with the west leading sales. Regarding corn, sales are also delayed, with the west again leading. In the cotton sector, sales are at different stages, with raw cotton more advanced than cottonseed.
