SANTOS PORT AUTHORITY MOVES FORWARD WITH AUCTION PLANS FOR STS08 AND STS10

The areas STS08 and STS10, on the Right Bank of the Port of Santos, have different destinies. STS08, located in Alemoa and intended for liquid and gaseous bulk, was withdrawn from auction due to a lack of proposals, undergoing reassessment with an estimated investment of R$ 261 million. Meanwhile, STS10, in Saboó, covering 601,102 m2, went through public hearings, TCU analysis, and alignment with APS for containerized cargo storage. The port is studying current demand to define the auctions. The president of APS mentioned adaptations for the continuity of Ecoporto in STS10 and the transfer of the Passenger Maritime Terminal to the area, budgeted at R$ 1.4 billion and included in the Porto’s Development and Zoning Plan (PDZ).
