RUSSIAN COMPANIES REPORT INCREASED SALES TO BRAZIL COMPARED TO 2022

PhosAgro boosted fertilizer exports by 8% in the first four months of this year compared to the same period in 2022. Supplies to Latin America are up 50%, while deliveries to Europe are down 10%, said CFO Alexander Sharabaika. The broad picture of exports up until the end of the year will rely on the demand since the company sells fertilizers on the spot market. The company expects to reach 11.3 million tons in 2023. The chairman of the board of Uralchem, Dmitry Tatyanin, said that the company must restructure market operations in 2022, “including the displacement of part of our sales from Europe to Africa, Brazil, and Latin America.”
