BRAZIL’S AMAGGI TO PROMOTE REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE

Amaggi, the largest agricultural trading company with national capital, launched on Thursday (22/06) the Amaggi Regenera program. The program pushes regenerative agriculture and combines agriculture with the environment, seeking to reduce green gas emissions and promote sustainability. Regenerative agriculture generally involves protecting and restoring soil health, conserving water resources and biodiversity, and reducing climate impacts, not only on the group’s farms but throughout the network of farmers who source grains and fibers in the Amazon and Cerrado biomes. Amaggi sold almost 19 million metric tons of grains and fibers globally in 2022.
