PETROBRAS: REVENUES FOR THE THIRD QUARTER OF 2023 WAS BRL 26.6 BILLION

Petrobras reported a net profit of BRL 26.6 billion in the third quarter of 2023, a drop of 42 % from the same period the previous year and a 7.5% decrease from the second quarter. Although the Brazilian currency’s depreciation against the US dollar affected the outcome, Petrobras still reported an Ebitda of BRL 66.2 billion, which ranked sixth in the company’s history. This was primarily due to the appreciation of oil, increased exports, increased sales of oil products, and a decrease in LNG imports. Petrobras also declared a BRL 17.5 billion dividend to shareholders. Gross debt increased 5% from the previous quarter to USD 61 billion. Production totaled 2.88 million boed, with pre-salt setting a new quarterly high of 2.25 million boed, accounting for 78% of total output.
