NEW WAREHOUSES INCREASE STATIC CAPACITY IN THE PORT OF PARANAGUÁ

New storage facilities for bagged sugar and general cargo will be built in the Port of Paranaguá on the coast of Paraná. The FTSpar Group, which has been in the port industry for almost 35 years, now owns a 23,000-square-meter area. A total of 5,000 square meters has a static capacity of 18,000 tons. The Group’s goal is to achieve 150 thousand tons of static capacity with the Porto Ponta do Félix construction in Antonina. “We have 75,000 tons in the primary bonded zone and 75,000 tons in the Customs Area and General Warehouse of this total static capacity of 150,000 tons, so that mills outside the state of Paraná can benefit from tax rules,” said Valdecio Bombonatto, CEO of the FTSpar Group.
