Mato Grosso do Sul completed planting of its 2025/26 second corn crop across 2.206 million hectares, according to Aprosoja/MS. Initial yield is estimated at 84.2 bags per hectare, with production projected at 11.139 million mt. Crop conditions remain mostly positive, with 72.7% rated good, 16.9% fair, and 10.4% poor, while field monitoring now shifts to weather, pests, and disease pressure. In soybeans, harvest reached 99.8% of the planted area, totaling about 4.7 million hectares. Average soybean yield was revised upward to 61.73 bags per hectare, up 19.2% year on year as sampling advanced. State soybean output is now projected at 17.759 million mt, with consistent field performance reported across most producing regions.
