IMPRESSIVE 70.96% SURGE IN OPERATIONS AT CABEDELO PORT IN BRAZIL

A report by the Operations Management of the Port Authority of Paraíba (Docas-PB) revealed a remarkable 70.96% increase in Cabedelo Port’s operations during September compared to the same period the previous year.With a total o f 1,002,358 tonnes handled in 2023, Cabedelo Port surpassed the milestone achieved in 2022 in October alone. Once again, petcoke, also known as petroleum coke, was the cargo standout, accounting for over 67,000 tonnes moved in September out of a total of 145,117 tonnes. Another highlight in September was the commencement of storing 10,000 tonnes of sugar in Warehouse 7 at Cabedelo Port. This cargo will be exported to South Africa in the month of October, further solidifying the port’s position as a significant export hub in the region.
