ICE RAW SUGAR DELIVERY IS ESTIMATED AT 1.67 MILLION TONS, FOURTH LARGEST ON RECORD

Raw sugar deliveries against the May contract expiry on the ICE exchange were estimated at 32,914 lots, or about 1.67 million tonnes, the fourth largest volume on record, according to preliminary information from three traders on Tuesday, 30. Singapore-based commodities brokerage Wilmar International was seen as the biggest supplier of sugar, with 29,727 lots, or about 1.51 million tonnes. Commodities trading company Louis Dreyfus was considered the main recipient, with 19,127 lots, or about 971 thousand tons, traders said.
