FERTILIZER DELIVERIES IN BRAZIL GREW ALMOST 12% IN 11 MONTHS

Brazil saw an 11.9% rise in fertilizer deliveries between January and November 2023, totaling 42.21 million tons, according to ANDA. Mato Grosso received the most supplies (22.2%), followed by Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, Goiás, Minas Gerais, and São Paulo. Despite the rise in delivery, Brazilian fertilizer output dropped by 8.7% to 6.24 million tons, which is insufficient to fulfill demand in some Brazilian states. As a result, imports climbed by 9.4%, with the Port of Paranaguá serving as the primary point of entry. The port experienced a 4.9% drop in deliveries.
