BRAZIL’S PARANA SOYBEAN PLANTING 67% COMPLETE, DERAL SAYS

Soybean planting reached 67% of the area estimated for the 2022/23 crop in Paraná. In 2020, soybean planting was at 61% at the end of October, and 65% in 2018, and 2019. “In the last seven days, Parana saw periods of good weather, so soybean planting reached 67% of the estimated area of 5.7 million hectares”, said Deral analyst Edmar Gervásio. “In the week, more than 1.3 million hectares were planted, recovering the producer’s planning and bringing some normality back to this crop”. The quality of soybean crops went from 96% good to 95% in the weekly variation, informed the Deral.
