BRAZIL SOYBEAN CRUSH SEES 63 MLN TONNES ON STRONGER PROCESSING

Abiove raised its 2026 forecast for Brazil’s soybean crush to 63 million tonnes, up 0.8% from the previous estimate, signaling higher output of value-added products. Soymeal production is projected at 48.6 million tonnes and soybean oil output at 12.65 million tonnes. Brazil’s soybean crop is estimated at 180.25 million tonnes, while soybean exports are expected to reach 114.1 million tonnes. Soymeal shipments are forecast at 24.95 million tonnes and soybean oil exports at 1.65 million tonnes. The soy complex is expected to generate around US$60 billion in export revenues. From January through April, soybean processing totaled 18.12 million tonnes, up 10.1% year on year, supported by strong crop availability and industrial demand.
