BRAZIL POSTS 65,000 TONNE CROP PROTECTION PACKAGING RECYCLING VOLUME IN 2026

Brazil is expected to recycle around 65,000 tonnes of plastic from crop protection product packaging in 2026, accounting for roughly half of the estimated 120,000 tonnes recycled worldwide. The Campo Limpo System operates about 420 collection units across the country and carried out more than 4,500 mobile collection actions in 2025. Campo Limpo S.A. processes the recovered material into recycled resins, caps and new packaging, with around half of the recycled plastic returning to the agricultural supply chain. The company posted revenue above BRL 500 million in 2025 and expects growth of 10% to 12% in 2026. It plans to invest BRL 120 million to BRL 150 million over the next three years to expand recycling and manufacturing capacity.
