Farm credit disbursements to Brazil’s commercial agriculture reached BRL 477.2 billion in the 2025/26 crop year, equivalent to 92.4% of the BRL 516.2 billion made available under the Plano Safra. Rural Product Certificates (CPRs) accounted for BRL 205.2 billion, or 43% of total financing, reinforcing their position as the sector’s main funding instrument. Working capital loans totaled BRL 150.4 billion, followed by investment financing at BRL 50.5 billion, marketing loans at BRL 37.9 billion and processing credit at BRL 33.3 billion. A total of 534,828 rural credit contracts were signed during the crop year, including 161,968 CPR transactions, with southern Brazil receiving the largest share of funding.
