ANHYDROUS ETHANOL SALE HAS INCREASED 17.53% SINCE THE START OF THE HARVEST

Ethanol sales reached 1.20 billion liters in the first half of June, an increase of 4.10% over the same period in 2022–23. Up to June 15, 667.54 million liters of hydrous were sold, a 5.34% drop, and 534.55 million liters of anhydrous, up 18.92%. About 614 million liters of hydrous ethanol were sold within the country, a decrease of 11.18% from the same time last crop, and 516.62 million liters of anhydrous ethanol, which incresead by 22.78%. The sale of ethanol totals 5.70 billion liters in the 2023–2024 season, a drop of 0.39%. Anhydrous ethanol makes up 2.52 billion liters (up 17.53%), whereas hydrous ethanol makes up 3.19 billion liters (down 11.09%).
