ANEC RAISES CORN EXPORT FORECAST FROM BRAZIL TO 140.56 THOUSAND TONS IN MARCH

The National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec) anticipates Brazil’s corn exports to reach 140.56 thousand tons in March, an increase from the previous week’s projection. This estimate falls significantly below last year’s March exports of 780.05 thousand tons. Anec suggests Brazil will prioritize soybean exports in the first half of the year, deferring corn exports to the latter half. The forecast is derived from ship schedules and actual shipments.
