AFTER MEETING WITH THE GOVERNOR OF SÃO PAULO, THE MINISTER OF PORTS AND AIRPORTS ANNOUNCES A R$40 MILLION INVESTMENT IN THE PORT OF SANTOS

After a meeting with the Governor of São Paulo, the Minister of Ports and Airports, Silvio Costa Filho, announced an investment of R$ 40 million in the Port of Santos. The investment aims to enhance the infrastructure and the flow of goods in and out of the port. Although the governor had previously discussed privatizing the port, the meeting did not focus on that issue but rather on improvement measures. The financial injection is part of a package of infrastructure measures and investments planned by the federal government for the port region. Additionally, the meeting addressed the Santos-Guarujá tunnel project, designed to connect the two cities through a dry corridor, financed by the federal government in partnership with the State of São Paulo. The meeting demonstrates a commitment to partnerships to improve the quality of life for the population.
