Soybeans topped the cargo list (29% increase), followed by corn (18%) and crude oil (9.4%). Ports like Santos and Paranaguá flourished, while the Northern Arc emerged as a key export hub for soybeans and corn, surpassing southern regions. Despite Amazon drought challenges, the sector expects continued growth in 2024 and beyond, solidifying its importance in Brazil’s economy.
