PARANÁ POSTS BRL 212.6B FARM OUTPUT VALUE AS AGRICULTURE REBOUNDS

Paraná’s Gross Value of Agricultural Production (VBP) reached BRL 212.6 billion in 2025, up 13% year on year in nominal terms and 9% in real terms. Livestock remained the state’s largest revenue source for a fourth consecutive year, accounting for 53% of total farm output value at BRL 111.7 billion. Crop production generated BRL 91.2 billion, supported by a recovery in grain yields. Soybean output rose to 21.4 million metric tons, generating BRL 42.3 billion, while corn production reached 21 million tons with a value of BRL 19.1 billion. In livestock, broiler production contributed BRL 35.5 billion, and cattle rearing for feedlots expanded 37% in real terms to BRL 7.1 billion.
