VLI, a logistics solutions company operating railways, ports, and terminals, recorded a record 11.9 million tons of grains and bran transported in the first half of 2025, 10% higher than the same period in 2024 and 5% above the previous record of 11.3 million tons in January–June 2023. Shipments are destined for the Americas, Asia, and Europe. VLI moves soybeans, corn, and animal feed byproducts along its East, Southeast, and North corridors, connecting major production regions to the ports of Espírito Santo, Santos, and São Luís. Strategically located terminals provide road-to-rail transshipment and storage, alleviating logistical bottlenecks. Gabriel Fonseca, General Manager of Grain and Fertilizer Sales, emphasized operational excellence, team safety, and support for commodity flows, highlighting the positive impact on both the company and Brazil’s export capacity.
