THE 2025/26 GRAIN HARVEST IS ESTIMATED AT 356,3 MILLION TONS.

Brazil’s 2025/26 grain crop is projected at 356.3 Mt (+4.1 Mt y/y), a record, with planted area up 2% to 83.3 Mha. Average yield is estimated at 4,276 kg/ha (-0.8% y/y), still the second-highest on record. Soybean output is forecast at 179.2 Mt, with harvest 85.7% complete and record yields at 3,696 kg/ha. Corn production is seen at 139.6 Mt (-1.1%), with first crop at ~28 Mt and second crop at 109.1 Mt (-3.6%). Rice output is projected at 11.1 Mt (-12.9%) on reduced area, while beans total 2.9 Mt (-5.2%). Cotton lint is estimated at 3.8 Mt (-5.8%). Corn carryover stocks are set at 12.8 Mt by Jan-27; exports at 46.5 Mt and domestic use at 96.5 Mt. The outlook signals strong exportable supply despite mixed crop performance.
