2023-24 SUGARCANE HARVEST ENDS IN THE CENTER-SOUTH WITH RECORDS

The 2023-24 sugarcane crop in Brazil’s center-south region set records for crushing, sugar, and ethanol output. In the second half of March, crushing increased by 6.5% year on year, resulting in a 19.3% rise in processed volume compared to the previous season. Favorable weather conditions and investments in new technology helped sugarcane areas restore productivity, according to the DATAGRO VIP Report.
