WHEAT EXPORTS TO REACH 512 THOUSAND TONS IN DECEMBER

According to the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec), Brazil is expected to export 512,300 tons of wheat in December, which is an increase from last week’s estimate of 290,000 tons. However, it is still lower than the 689,000 tons exported in the same month last year. Anec predicts that Brazil will export 2.5 million tons of wheat this year, compared to 3.2 million tons in 2022. Anec did not make any significant changes to its weekly export forecasts for other products. Corn exports are estimated to be 6.96 million tons this month, down from 7.17 million tons in the previous week.
