VLI POSTS RECORD MONTHLY GRAIN AND MEAL VOLUMES

VLI recorded the highest monthly grain and meal volumes in its history. In April, volumes transported on the railways operated by the company reached 2.96 million tonnes, up 3.5% from the previous monthly record, set in March 2025. At ports, VLI shipped about 1.99 million tonnes, up 0.5% from March last year. Recent investments to expand capacity, safety and infrastructure were among the factors that supported April’s performance, in line with the company’s commitment to providing efficient and integrated logistics solutions for agribusiness. “This new record reflects the improvement in our operational performance and advances in our customer service model. In the first half of the year, we enabled new routes connected to export corridors, expanded our presence in the meal chain and created logistics solutions to improve cargo receiving,” said Gabriel Fonseca, VLI’s general manager for grains.
