VLI BOOSTS WAGONS FLEET TO MEET FERTILIZER DEMAND IN BRAZIL’S ARCO NORTE

The logistic company VLI has just purchased 78 units of Hopper HTT wagons, suitable for transporting agricultural commodities, and fertilizers. A new logistical corridor for fertilizers is scheduled to be inaugurated along the Northern Corridor, which connects the states of Tocantins and Maranhao. The purchase aims to boost the company’s cargo capacity. Hopper HTT wagons differ primarily in three ways: they are shorter without losing volume, lighter, and have a longer service life. The load capacity per train has increased as a result of all these changes. Another feature that stands out is the quick off-loading system, and the internal coating with special paint that prevents the cargo from remaining inside the wagon.
