THE SUGAR SCHEDULED FOR EXPORT INCREASES AT PORTS

In the week ending April 12, there were 45 ships waiting to load sugar in Brazilian ports, up from 34 the week before (05). Also, there were around 1.949 million tons of sugar waiting to be loaded, up from 1.322 million tons the week prior. The port of Santos (SP) will probably carry the largest amount (1.443 million tons), followed by those of Paranaguá (PA), Recife (PE), Maceió (AL), Suape (PE), and Imbituba (SC). These add up to 402,564 tons, 38.376 thousand tons, 49.3 thousand tons, and 10.5 thousand tons, and 5 thousand tons respectively. The sugar cargo that will be shipped consists of VHP variety (1,915,185 tons), Refined A45 (19,000 tons), Cristal B150 (5,000 tones), and VHP in bags (10.5 thousand tons).
