TEREOS REDUCES DIESEL CONSUMPTION AND AVOIDS 9K TONS OF CO2 EMISSIONS

Tereos reduced the consumption of more than 3.4 million liters of diesel in its fleet in 2023 compared to the previous year. This has resulted in the company stopping the emission of 9,000 tons of CO2 in the period. This is a significant step towards the company’s efforts to decarbonize and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from its fleet vehicles. The company invested in the use of diesel additives in its fleet and began using S-10 diesel in 100% of its vehicles and equipment. S-10 diesel is less polluting than S-500 diesel as it contains less sulfur in its composition. In addition to reducing pollution, it also promotes efficiency and improves engine performance.
