Tereos opened the 2026/27 harvest targeting 18 million tons of sugarcane crush, supported by operational consolidation and field-level efficiency gains. The group reduced its industrial footprint to five units in northwest São Paulo after divesting the Andrade mill. The new structure aims to improve logistics, industrial throughput, and capital allocation. In agriculture, the company deployed a climate-focused plan to mitigate drought risk, scaling precision inputs such as vinasse fertigation, biological pest control, drone-assisted ripening, and sensor-based planting diagnostics. Sustainability metrics advanced: 68.19% of processed cane is certified; 26 suppliers meet FSA-SAI standards, totaling over 3 million tons; and the Mandu unit secured ISCC CORSIA Low LUC certification. Operational upgrades include real-time equipment data integration at the COA and fleet renewal with 23 tractors and 11 harvesters to reduce downtime and stabilize output despite weak sugar prices.
