SUGAR LINE-UP: BRAZIL TO SHIP 1.478 MILLION TONNES

42 ships were waiting to be loaded with sugar in Brazilian ports in the week of December 21, compared to 44 the previous week (14). 1.478 million tonnes of sugar were on the line-up, up from 1.271 million the last week. Most of this volume should leave the country from the Port of Santos (926 thousand tonnes). Other key departure points are the Port of Paranagua (314,756 tonnes), Recife (81,396 tonnes), Maceió (114,592 tonnes), Suape (26,000), and Sao Sebastiao (15 thousand tonnes). The main variety consists of VHP sugar variety (3,480,715 tonnes), Crystal sugar B150 (89,050 tonnes), white sugar A-45 (136,500 tonnes), VHP sugar in bags (35,000 tonnes), and TBI (35,000 tonnes).
