In August 2022, sugar and molasses exports reached 2.957 million tons, earning total profits of US$ 1.20 billion in 23 business days. During the period, sugar and molasses exports averaged 166,022 thousand tons per day, which is a 29% increase from the same period in 2022 (128,581 thousand tons per day).
