Suape Port handled 13.73 million tonnes of cargo in the first half of 2026, up 25.6% year on year. Liquid bulk accounted for 9.14 million tonnes, a 40.1% increase driven mainly by crude oil and refined products from the Abreu e Lima refinery, while solid bulk volumes rose 39% to 799.5 thousand tonnes. Containerized cargo represented 25.7% of total throughput, and the port recorded 832 vessel calls, up 14.3% from a year earlier. Vehicle handling reached 33,779 units, underscoring stronger logistics activity and cargo demand across the port complex.
