SOYBEAN PLANTING IN MATO GROSSO REACHES 98.39% OF THE AREA

According to the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea), soybean planting in Mato Grosso has reached 98.39% of the expected area for the 2023-24 crop as of Friday, 24. This shows a 2.10 percentage point increase from the previous week’s sowing rate of 96.29%. When compared to the same period of the 2022-23 crop, there is a 1.18 percentage point delay as farmers had planted 99.58% of the area at that time. Planting has already begun in the mid-north area, followed by the north (99.83% completed works) and the west (99.65% completed works).
